Piemonte Tu
Portal and app of the Regione Piemonte that brings the region's digital services for citizens together in a single access point.
Piemonte Tu is the portal, with its companion app, through which the Regione Piemonte brings its digital services for citizens together under a single access point; it was built by the Region together with CSI Piemonte, and the official app was launched in November 2020 [1]. Access is through the SPID digital identity, alongside the electronic ID card and the health card/national services card [1] [3].
In its first version the app offered the healthcare services of Salute Piemonte, including test results, prescriptions and payment of healthcare fees, payments to the public administration through Piemonte Pay via the PagoPA system, car tax payment, and employment services including the Garanzia Giovani programme for young people aged 15 to 29 [1]. By 2024 the portal also included the Tu Scelta Sociale welfare services, an education section with applications for the school voucher, and an energy section with the registry of heating systems and the list of energy-efficiency professionals [2].
The portal has become the entry point for several regional procedures: for the 2026/2027 school year, the school voucher application is filled in through the Education section of Piemonte Tu, while the personal area holds each citizen's profile and files. In the September 2026 Torino Top 100 ranking, the site is among the 10,000 most-visited sites in Italy according to Google's Chrome UX Report.
The Regional Council's motion on local shops (30 September 2026)
On 30 September 2026 the Consiglio regionale del Piemonte approves a motion backing Confesercenti's popular-initiative bill for local shops, which Piedmont's regional president Alberto Cirio signed as a private citizen on 25 September 2026.
Carabinieri operation against the "banda dei tir" between Piedmont and Lombardy (October 2026)
On 2 October 2026 the carabinieri of the Alessandria Reparto Operativo dismantle the so-called "banda dei tir", a gang specialised in stealing semi-trailers and containers between Piedmont and Lombardy for resale in Campania: eight people are under investigation for theft, handling stolen goods and money laundering, two of whom are jailed and one placed under house arrest.
