Approval of the new Regional Territorial Plan of Piedmont (September 2026)

On 29 September 2026 the Consiglio regionale del Piemonte unanimously approves the new Regional Territorial Plan, replacing the one in force since 2011 and aiming to curb land consumption, dividing the territory into 33 Territorial Integration Areas.
