Publisher and editorial responsibility
TorinoMia is published by Boris Myznikov, resident in Turin, who is also responsible for its editorial content. The domain name torinomia.it is registered in his name. The technical side of the project is run by Ilya Osipov.
Domicile: via Giacomo Balla 5, 10137 Turin, Italy.
How to write to us
Editorial staff: redazione [at] torinomia [dot] it. This is the address for anything concerning the entries, the sources and the project.
Personal data, corrections and deletions: privacy [at] torinomia [dot] it, or the dedicated door, which is quicker because it assigns a case number.
We answer within a month. We have no telephone number: the editorial staff works in writing, so there is a record of what was asked and what was answered.
Registration
The publication is not registered and is not entered in the ROC register: the obligation does not apply to those who receive no public funding and earn less than one hundred thousand euro a year from publishing (art. 7, paragraph 3, of legislative decree 70/2003 and art. 3-bis of decree law 63/2012). We carry on no activity subject to authorisation and are not entered in the register of companies.
Archived domains
Some domains of closed Turin websites are registered by this project and redirect to the encyclopedia entry about the site that used to be there. This is a legitimate, non-commercial use: the pages carry no advertising, the domains are not for sale and are not used to attract visitors for profit.
We give them back as a courtesy. If you were the previous holder and lost the domain by mistake — a renewal missed, contact details changed, an expiry date unnoticed — or if you hold rights in the name (trade mark, company name, personal name), write to us: we transfer the domain free of charge within 30 days of checking, asking nothing in return.
Giving it back concerns the domain name. The encyclopedia entry about the site remains editorial content of the newsroom: if you find an error in it, you can report it through the corrections page — reports are examined by the newsroom.
Texts and artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence is now part of most of the tools the newsroom works with: search engines, translators, text and image editors, mail and the services through which the site is published. Often even an editor does not know whether the tool at hand uses artificial intelligence inside.
That is why we label all content of this site as content created with the help of artificial intelligence, in accordance with Article 50(4) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence (AI Act). The notice is at the foot of every page.
Entries read by an editor carry the editor's name and the date of the check.
