The domain provincia.torino.it, registered on 29 January 1996, is shown as paid for until 29 January 2027 and is still registered to the "Provincia di Torino".1
The Città metropolitana's domain, cittametropolitana.torino.it, created on 6 November 2012, is also registered in the name of the now-abolished body.2

provincia.torino.it: from December 1996 to the 2012 Welcome/Bienvenue page
The site provincia.torino.it is among the earliest Italian institutional pages saved by the archive, as far back as 19 December 1996.1 One of the last preserved pages, dated January 2012, was a multilingual tourist presentation of the territory ("Welcome/Bienvenue") describing Turin through "the splendours of the House of Savoy, the Unification of Italy, great churches and baroque palaces, prestigious museums, the automobile industry, sport", alongside a ring of mountains with ski resorts.2
