Date of the event:
Between Wednesday 4 and Friday 6 November 2026 an Atlantic weather front affects Piedmont, bringing widespread rain and the season's first significant snowfall to the region's mountains, with effects especially on the Cuneo Alps and the western Piedmont highlands [1].

Significant accumulations are also recorded at the Rifugio Mondovì, with 49 centimetres at 1,760 metres, and at Limone Pancani, where 43 centimetres fall at 1,885 metres [1].

Accumulations exceeding 30 centimetres are also recorded between 1,300 and 1,500 metres, in the area of Limonetto and Tetti Matlas [1].
