Inauguration of VALE at the Valentino

VALE is the name of the new diffuse cultural hub born in Parco del Valentino, in Turin. The initiative connects several entities present in the area: the park itself, the Teatro Nuovo, the Borgo Medievale, Turin's universities and the future Biblioteca civica centrale, which will be housed in the redeveloped spaces of Torino Esposizioni [1][2][3].

The project

VALE is conceived as a permanent laboratory of citizenship and culture, with the aim of linking together the various cultural and institutional players already present in the Valentino area [2]. Besides the park and its historic structures such as the Borgo Medievale, the hub also involves the Teatro Nuovo and the city's universities [1][3].

The future Biblioteca civica centrale

A key element of the project is the future Biblioteca civica centrale, which will be located in the redeveloped spaces of Torino Esposizioni, within the Valentino complex [1][2][3].

The announcement

News of the launch of VALE was released in mid-September 2026 by news outlets and by the Politecnico di Torino, which spoke of the inauguration of the Valentino's new cultural hub [3].
