Fondazione Allegra Agnelli

The Fondazione Allegra Agnelli per la Ricerca sul Cancro is an organisation that supports cancer research and care in Turin. On 1 October 2026 it launches the ninth edition of Life is Pink, a campaign for the prevention of and research into female cancers. For its fortieth anniversary, in September 2026 it also installed, together with the Fondazione Merz, a permanent work by the artist Mario Merz at the entrance of the Istituto di Candiolo.

The Foundation's fortieth anniversary and President Mattarella's visit (September 2026)

On 24 September 2026 the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella visits the Istituto Nazionale Oncologico di Candiolo on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the Fondazione Allegra Agnelli per la Ricerca sul Cancro and World Cancer Research Day. He is welcomed by the president of the Fondazione Allegra Agnelli and the president of the Institute, Andrea Agnelli. During the visit, the Institute's new Photon-Counting CT scanner is inaugurated, an investment of around three million euros made possible by the Foundation.
