Mario Merz
Mario Merz is responsible for a work that in September 2026 was placed in front of the Istituto Nazionale Oncologico di Candiolo, brought there by the Fondazione Allegra Agnelli together with the Fondazione Merz.
The work is the «Doppio igloo di Porto», an igloo featuring the Fibonacci sequence created in 1998, permanently installed in front of the institute's entrance: according to the Fondazione Allegra Agnelli, a unique case worldwide of contemporary art permanently placed at a cancer hospital. [4]
