C.P.T.-Torino

cpt.to.it was the website of C.P.T.-Torino, the Joint Territorial Committee for Accident Prevention, Hygiene and the Work Environment of Turin and province, online since at least May 2000.1 The committee, a non-profit body set up in 1970 by agreement between the Collegio dei Costruttori Edili (ANCE) of the province of Turin, the craft trade associations and the construction workers' trade unions, was funded by a contribution of 0.34% of the payroll of firms enrolled with the Cassa Edile and governed by a statute setting its membership at twelve, six appointed by the builders and six by the workers. It carried out site inspections on building sites, training, informational materials and noise and vibration measurements.23

In January 2016 the site reported that the office had moved, as of November 2013, to via Quarello 19 in Turin.4 The archive's snapshots stop after that January 2016, and the domain name is no longer registered in the .it registry.5

The site cpt.to.it of C.P.T.-Torino is documented in the web archive from 24 May 2000. In the snapshot of 3 July 2015 the site offered on-site consultancy services, noise and vibration measurements and a database on noise and vibration, with its offices having moved, as of 18 November 2013, to via Giuseppe Quarello in Turin. The archive's records continue until 17 February 2020, the last year of activity recorded for the domain.

In the earliest known archive snapshot, from 24 May 2000, the site cpt.to.it appeared as a simple frame-based entry page, with a notice that the browser in use did not support them.1 In the snapshot of 3 July 2015 the site was instead structured with the sections "Chi siamo" ("About us"), "Statuto" ("Statute") and "Organigramma" ("Organisation chart") and a login-protected area; a note stated that, as of 18 November 2013, the offices of the C.P.T. had moved to via Giuseppe Quarello 19, in Turin.2
