Cassa Edile Torino - Home Page
cassaedile.torino.it is the website of the Cassa Edile di Mutualità e Assistenza della Provincia di Torino, a joint body in the construction sector established on 1 January 1957 and jointly managed by employers' associations and construction workers' trade unions.1
With the collective agreement of 24 July 1959, made universally binding by Presidential Decree (D.P.R.) no. 1032 of 14 July 1960, the establishment of Casse Edili became compulsory throughout the national territory; the national agreement of 25 November 1966 also introduced the Anzianità Professionale Edile (A.P.E.), a seniority bonus for employees of registered companies.2
The Cassa manages, on behalf of registered workers, the accruals for the Christmas bonus and holiday pay, severance pay, and welfare and assistance benefits, and is based at via Quarello 19 in Turin.23
