VisitPiemonte

VisitPiemonte – Regional Marketing and Promotion (DMO Piemonte scrl) is Piedmont's destination management organization, an in-house company of the Regione Piemonte and of Unioncamere Piemonte, based in Turin at Via Bertola 34 [1] [2] [3]. It operates under regional law 14/2016 on tourism promotion, hospitality and information, and is the regional agency for the development and promotion of tourism and quality agri-food products, alongside sports promotion of the territory [1] [2].
It runs the Regional Tourism Observatory and oversees tourism marketing campaigns, the commercial promotion of tourism and agri-food products, media relations, and training in tourism and food marketing, working closely with regional offices and with the ATLs (Local Tourism Agencies) [2] [3]. In its own presentation it states that it aims to tell the many facets of Piedmont to visitors and residents alike, while preserving their authenticity [1].
The visitpiemonte.com portal was relaunched with PNRR funds and unveiled on 5 April 2024 at the Circolo dei lettori in Turin, with the collaboration of the computer science department of the Politecnico di Torino [4] [5]. It serves as a regional digital hub: it gathers content from Piemonteitalia.eu, Piemonteoutdoor.it, the ATLs and the Yucca data platform run by CSI Piemonte, and feeds it into the national portal Italia.it; it offers destinations, itineraries, accommodation listings, more than a thousand outdoor routes, and the "My Trip to Piedmont" section [4]. In the September 2026 Torino Top 100 ranking, the site appears among the 50,000 most visited sites in Italy according to Google's Chrome UX Report.
