On 2 November 2026 the Piedmont Region opens a new grant, with a deadline of 24 November, to fund communication and advertising initiatives linked to international, national, regional or local-level tourism events held in Piedmont during 2026. The total funding allocated is 1,385,000 euros [1][2].

Beneficiaries and purpose

Applications can be submitted by public bodies or bodies under public law and non-profit associations, including municipalities, local authorities and Pro Loco (local tourist associations), that organise fairs, festivals and events throughout the year. The announcement was made by the regional councillor responsible for Commerce, Agriculture and Food, Tourism, Sport and Post-Olympic Affairs, Hunting and Fishing, and Parks, Paolo Bongioanni, who said that indicators on operators' interest in B2B trade fairs and on summer tourist numbers confirm growing attention toward Piedmont, linked also to tourism events [1][2].

Fundable activities

The grant covers a wide range of expenses: updating websites and managing social media, video and photo services, the design, production and printing of informational material, communication and advertising campaigns on TV, radio, print and internet, the production of promotional gadgets and materials, press office work, Siae rights linked to events, the graphic design of exhibition spaces and reception points, the rental of equipment and furnishings, audio, lighting and video services, as well as the organisation of educational tours for journalists, bloggers and influencers, including hospitality [1][2].

Amount of the contribution

The regional contribution covers up to 80% of eligible expenses, with a minimum amount of 500 euros and a maximum that varies according to the significance of the event: 10,000 euros for events of local significance, 20,000 for regional events, 40,000 for national events and 80,000 for international events. Significance is established by the Calendar of Piedmont trade fair events for 2026 or, for non-fair events, by a certification issued by a third-party body based on the event's designation [1][2].
