Valchiusella is the name of the valley in Canavese that includes the area of Traversella, in the Metropolitan City of Turin.
On 5 October 2026, the alpine rescue unit of the Guardia di Finanza recovered, in a remote area of Traversella, in upper Valchiusella, human remains and some items of clothing that may belong to Swiss mountaineer Jürg Müller, who went missing in the area on 23 June 2026.12
