Roadworks to resurface viale Torino and strada Settimo (September 2026)
Roadworks begin in Turin to resurface viale Torino and strada Settimo, as part of the «Torino Cambia» plan. Work on strada Settimo, which started on 24 September 2026 and is expected to last about two weeks, is part of the City's extraordinary programme under the 2024 budget and covers two stretches: between the junction with the municipal road from Bertolla to the Abbadia di Stura and the junction with strada della Cebrosa, and between the entrance to the Abbadia di Stura cemetery and the municipal boundary with San Mauro, including the junction with the Pescarito freight depot and the ring-road and motorway slip road. [3] Work on viale Torino, which started on 23 September 2026, is expected to last about ten days and covers the stretch between the roundabout with the ring-road slip roads and the square in front of the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi, with the road remaining passable throughout the works thanks to partial lane closures. [3] The «Torino Cambia – Spazi che uniscono» plan, backed by Fondazione CRT with a total investment of 32 million euros, is dedicated to road maintenance and to improving the safety, accessibility and quality of public spaces.
