Fondazione Crt

The Fondazione Crt is a banking foundation based in Turin, active in supporting education, research, and urban maintenance projects in Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta.

Investments in education

With the start of the 2026/2027 school year, the Foundation renewed its commitment to the younger generations with a total investment of 6.8 million euros, allocated to the Progetto Diderot, the "Insieme per il Successo Formativo - Fftp 4+2" programs, and the before- and after-school activities of the "Il mio Posto nel Mondo" project [1]. The Progetto Diderot is offering its widest range ever for the two-year period, with 30 project lines (13 completely new) and an investment of 2.8 million euros, aimed at schools of all levels in Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta on topics including STEM, digital skills, artificial intelligence, sustainability, financial education, citizenship, and art and culture; enrollment begins with the Click Day on 15 October [1]. The "Insieme per il Successo Formativo" program is supported with 500,000 euros to strengthen the link between schools and the world of work [1]. The Foundation's president, Anna Maria Poggi, stresses that "school is the place where the future of our communities is built" [1].

Urban projects

The Foundation also funds routine maintenance work in the area: in Turin, in the Pozzo Strada district, a contract funded by the Fondazione Crt will eliminate, between mid-October 2026 and the early months of 2027, the architectural barriers reported between corso Monte Cucco, via Delleani, and via Monte Ortigara, including a sidewalk with a 30-centimeter step with no ramp [2].
