OGR Torino
Former Officine Grandi Riparazioni railway workshops in Turin (1895), reopened in 2017 as a centre for art, culture and innovation.

The OGR – Officine Grandi Riparazioni (Great Repair Workshops) are a nineteenth-century industrial complex in Turin built for the repair of locomotives and railway vehicles, today transformed into a centre for art, culture and innovation [1] [3]. Brought into operation in 1895, they are considered one of the most important examples of nineteenth-century industrial architecture in Turin; the complex comprised 110 offices and a vehicle-assembly shed measuring 130.52 by 139.8 metres [1].
Between 1942 and 1944 the workshops suffered four bombing raids, the most serious in August 1943 and July 1944, which destroyed most of the pavilions and warehouses [1]. In 2013 the complex was purchased by the company OGR-CRT in order to transform the factory where trains used to be repaired into a hub for creativity and innovation; on 30 September 2017 the OGR reopened to the public, after more than a thousand days of construction work and an investment of 100 million euros by the Fondazione CRT [1] [2].
Today the OGR host exhibitions, concerts, performances and activities dedicated to innovation and training, and present themselves as "the new hub of innovation and art in Turin" [3]. The site ogrtorino.it publishes the calendar of events in the fields of art, music, innovation, culture and education, and recounts the history and the project behind the complex [3]. In the Torino Top 100 ranking for September 2026, the site is among the 100,000 most visited sites in Italy according to Google's Chrome UX Report.
