Palazzo Perrone di San Martino
Palazzo Perrone di San Martino is a historic building on via XX Settembre, in Turin, seat of the Cassa di Risparmio di Torino since 1885 and, since 1991, of Fondazione CRT, which also keeps a UniCredit branch there.[1]
The 2026 acquisition
In October 2026 Fondazione CRT purchased the building at market value from the Core NordOvest fund, managed by Ream, a company owned by the Piedmontese banking foundations and by pension bodies; the deal was announced by the Foundation's chair, Anna Maria Poggi.[1]
«Palazzo Perrone is the home of our history and of Turin's history. Within these rooms, over the centuries, the life of institutions, culture and the economic development of the city have been intertwined. [...] With this acquisition we take on the responsibility of safeguarding its value and, above all, of sharing it. We want it to be ever better known, visited and lived in.»
