Mirafiori Sud

Mirafiori Sud is a district of the city of Turin. A sidewalk and street maintenance program supported by the Fondazione CRT is currently underway in the district, which has already covered corso Salvemini, via Nitti, via Ogliaro and the intersection between via Rignon and corso Agnelli, with further works planned through 2027. [3] In September 2026, in the district, the Teatro San Barnaba hosted the opening of the "Sconfini Giovani" festival, organized by the OltrePalco association and dedicated to local theater companies under 35. [1][2]

On 24 September 2026 two cars collided at the intersection between via Biscaretti di Ruffia and via Buriasco: one vehicle overturned and one of the drivers fled on foot; no one was injured. [4]

On via Plava, residents wrote to the City, the Region and Circoscrizione 2 asking for measures against excessive speed, reporting that the 30 km/h limit is not being observed near pedestrian crossings. [5]

In Mirafiori Sud, an appeal by via Coggiola residents to be allowed to park at night in the pedestrian zone was rejected by Circoscrizione 2, which cited the ban provided for by the Highway Code for permanent pedestrian areas. [6]
