Drug and Weapons Arrest in Mirafiori Sud
On 5 October 2026 the State Police arrested a 24-year-old Italian man in Turin for drug possession and for illegal possession and carrying of weapons. The operation, carried out by officers of the San Secondo police station, led to the seizure of more than four kilograms of drugs, three pistols, ammunition and other weapons, as well as 19,500 euros in cash. [1][2]
The investigation
The investigation began with information about a young man living in the Mirafiori Sud area from whom it was reportedly possible to buy illegal firearms. After surveillance and stakeout operations near his home, officers carried out a search once they had confirmed the 24-year-old was inside. [1][2]
The search
In the young man's room, 19,500 euros in cash and a single small-caliber cartridge were found, for which the 24-year-old reportedly gave unconvincing explanations. Checks were then extended to a garage on Via Oberdan under his control, where investigators found around 3.7 kilograms of hashish, more than 75 grams of marijuana, 42 grams of cocaine and nearly 560 grams of amphetamine inside a refrigerator, for a total quantity of more than 4.3 kilograms, along with packaging material and a precision scale. [1][2]
In a drawer in the garage, three pistols were also recovered, two of which turned out to be stolen, along with three knuckle-dusters fitted with tasers and a machete. The drugs, weapons, cash and the young man's mobile phone were seized. [1][2]
Outcome
The 24-year-old was arrested for drug possession and illegal possession and carrying of weapons, and was also reported for handling stolen goods and unlawful possession of weapons or ammunition. By order of the judicial authority, he was taken to the Lorusso e Cutugno prison. [1][2]
