Il Torinese

Il Torinese is an online daily newspaper from Turin that describes itself as a publication of «news, society, culture». It is a registered title with the Court of Turin under number 15 of 2014, published by the Turin-based company B.E.S.T. S.r.l., headquartered on corso Vittorio Emanuele II, and directed by Cristiano Bussola; it is listed in the Register of Communication Operators. The site is organized into sections including front page, news, culture and entertainment, columns, lifestyle, and sport. [1]
The paper introduced itself to readers on 13 July 2014 with an editorial outlining its eighteen thematic sections, ranging from news to cultural events, from city football to reader-submitted contributions. The green of the «toret», the public drinking fountain symbol of Turin, was chosen as its guiding color. [2] In 2019 director Bussola gave a talk in Casale Monferrato, at Palazzo Treville, on the new frontiers of online newspapers, which was covered by the paper itself. [3]
Among the city's online publications, Il Torinese stands out for the space it devotes to culture, society, and lifestyle alongside local news. [4] In the Torino Top 100 ranking for September 2026, the site appears among the top 10,000 most-visited sites in Italy according to Google's Chrome UX Report.
