Corriere Torino

Corriere Torino is the local edition of Corriere della Sera dedicated to Turin and Piedmont, published by RCS MediaGroup. The first issue came out on Friday 24 November 2017, sold alongside the national newspaper; the editorial office was set up in Galleria San Federico, in the city centre, with thirteen journalists and about twenty contributors under the direction of Umberto La Rocca. [1] The edition, 28 pages long like the Milan section, was presented at the Teatro Regio before representatives of the City and the Region and marked the Corriere's return to a Turin edition. [2]

Among the first bylines of the editorial staff were Gianpaolo Ormezzano for sport, Gabriele Ferraris for culture and politics, and Meo Ponte for court reporting; the newspaper set out to cover the city's economy, politics, culture, events, news and sport. [1] In March 2023 the editor of Corriere della Sera, Luciano Fontana, appointed Carmine Festa as editor-in-chief, succeeding Marco Castelnuovo, who had led the editorial office for three and a half years; in the same reorganisation Angelo Rossano was put in charge of the website and digital content. The website torino.corriere.it, the local section of the Corriere della Sera portal, publishes daily news, politics, economy, culture and sport from Turin and Piedmont, alongside the print edition. [3] In the Torino Top 100 ranking for September 2026 the site appears among the thousand most visited sites in Italy according to Google's Chrome UX Report.
