Quotidiano Piemontese

Quotidiano Piemontese is an online-only newspaper devoted to Turin and Piedmont, launched in 2012 out of a project by journalists and bloggers who became publishers of their own work. [1] The publication has been registered with the Court of Turin since 1 April 2016 and is published by the cooperative company Novajo, whose operating headquarters are on Via Maria Vittoria in Turin; its editor is Vittorio Pasteris, assisted by an editorial coordinator and a social media manager. [2] Pasteris is one of the pioneers of digital journalism in Turin: between 1999 and 2001 he was head of content for Stampa Interattiva, in 2005 he founded the innovation association TorinoValley, and since 2008 he has taught multimedia publishing at the University of Turin. [3]
In its own presentation, the editorial staff describe the newspaper as a social, civic and publishing project aimed at providing information suited to the 21st century. Among the milestones recalled in the «Dalla redazione» ("From the newsroom") section are the 12 million unique visitors and 48 million page views recorded in 2021, the new website launched in June 2023, and the presentation of the Digital News Report Italia in June 2024. [4] Besides the newspaper itself, Novajo also publishes the sites Piemonte Expo and Massa Critica. [1]
According to the publisher, by traffic the site ranks as the third news site in Piedmont, surpassed only by the digital editions of the major print newspapers. [1] In the Torino Top 100 ranking for September 2026, the site appears among the 5,000 most visited sites in Italy according to Google's Chrome UX Report.
