Via Carcano (Turin)
Via Carcano is a street in the Vanchiglia district of Turin. On 3 October 2026 the «Torino Green» market debuted in the street, dedicated to the reuse and occasional sale of second-hand goods between private individuals every Saturday and Sunday, established on a proposal by councillors Paolo Chiavarino and Chiara Foglietta. The market was created as a response by the Lo Russo administration to the crackdown decided by Lega and Fratelli d'Italia at Palazzo Lascaris on the previous «Libero Scambio» market, which had halved the number of permitted sale days; «Torino Green» occupies, at via Carcano 14/A, the spaces previously used by the «Il Barattolo» market.
