Torino Green Market in Via Carcano, Turin
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the «Torino Green» market debuts in Turin on via Carcano, dedicated to the reuse and occasional sale of second-hand goods between private individuals every Saturday and Sunday, established on a proposal by councillors Paolo Chiavarino and Chiara Foglietta. The market was created as the City's response to the restrictions imposed by the Piedmont Region, which had halved the trading days of the traditional Libero Scambio market on via Carcano. [4] The value of each item for sale cannot exceed 150 euros, as required by regional regulations, and participation is reserved for private individuals holding a special «green. To:» card issued by the City, which is personal and non-transferable. Issuing the card does not involve payment of processing fees. [5] [3]
