Turismo Torino e Provincia

Turismo Torino e Provincia is the local tourist reception and promotion agency for Turin and its provincial territory, set up as a limited consortium company, and presents itself as the city's Convention & Visitors Bureau [1] [3]. It is one of the six local tourist agencies (ATL) of Piedmont established by regional law 14/2016, alongside Alexala, the ATL del Cuneese, the Ente Turismo Langhe Monferrato Roero, the Distretto Turistico dei Laghi and Terre dell'Alto Piemonte [2].
The present-day body is the result of mergers: in 2007 the three agencies ATL1 «Turismo Torino», ATL2 «Montagnedoc» and ATL3 «Canavese e Valli di Lanzo» joined forces, and in 2010 the Torino Convention Bureau was incorporated into it [1]. Its task is to promote the province of Turin as a destination for leisure, sports, nature and cultural tourism as well as for business travel, conferences and incentive trips; by law, ATLs also handle tourist reception and information through the IAT offices [1] [2]. It is a company in which the City of Turin holds a stake [3].
The website turismotorino.org, available in Italian, English and French, presents itself as the official guide to Turin and its province: it offers experiences, events, museums, food and wine, UNESCO sites, parks and mountains, accommodation and tourist products such as the Torino+Piemonte Card; the footer displays the logos of the Piedmont Region, the City of Turin, the Metropolitan City and the Chamber of Commerce [3] [4]. In the Torino Top 100 ranking for September 2026, the site appears among the top 50,000 most visited sites in Italy according to Google's Chrome UX Report.
