Turin Municipal Police
The Turin Municipal Police is the local police force of the City of Turin.
From 1 June to 30 September, it takes part, together with the Social Services Department, the Asl Città di Torino and the Civil Protection, in the Piano Estate, a monitoring, surveillance and home-assistance programme aimed at residents over 65 in conditions of social, economic or health-related vulnerability. As part of the programme, calls to the Elderly Assistance Service made outside call centre hours, from 4 pm to 8:30 am and on public holidays, are forwarded to the Turin Local Police. Between 1 June and 10 August 2026, the service recorded 1,062 contacts, roughly a third of the total recorded since the start of the year.
