Turin - Districts: the building blocks of the city

quartieri.torino.it was a portal dedicated to the districts of Turin: the archive's first snapshot, from 24 May 2003, presented sections on news from the districts, cultural news, markets, history, museums and fairs of Turin, as well as profiles of individual districts, including Aurora, Barriera di Milano, Borgo Po, Centro, Crocetta, San Salvario and Vanchiglia; its office was at via Giacomo Susa 32/A in Turin.1

In the January 2009 snapshot the site, by then with its office moved to via Trivero 7, had added a section called «Accadde a Torino» ("It happened in Turin") and tourist information on hotels, restaurants and transport; a page from the same period told the story of the city starting from the Roman founding of Augusta Taurinorum, with text credited to the site a-torino.com.23

In the last snapshot with content, from May 2026, the site kept the list of districts but mainly offered advertising space, with a new phone number and an individual VAT number.4 The domain name quartieri.torino.it has been registered since 12 March 2003, with validity paid until 12 March 2027.5
