During the night, unknown individuals broke into the volunteer fire brigade station on Via Torino in Volpiano, making off with emergency response equipment worth an estimated tens of thousands of euros in damage [1][2]. The theft is being investigated by the Chivasso carabinieri, while about two weeks earlier the same perpetrators had attempted to target the fire brigade station in San Maurizio Canavese, failing due to the intrusion alarm and the presence of volunteers inside.
