Relocation of the Moncalieri Emergency Room on 6 October 2026

The works
The project involves the complete renovation of the current Emergency Room premises, with the expansion of the dedicated area and the creation of new spaces for patient observation, new examination rooms and rooms for managing emergencies. The temporary arrangement
During the works, the Emergency Room continues to operate as normal, with no reduction in its capacity to respond to citizens: rooms have been set up on the ground floor of the hospital to fully accommodate its activities [1][2]. The relocation involves a temporary change to the hospital's access routes: access to the Emergency Room and to the other departments and services takes place via the same entrance ramp, accessed from Piazza Amedeo Ferdinando. From 6 p.m. on 6 October, the main entrance ramp is used both by pedestrians and private vehicles heading to the Emergency Room, and by 118 emergency vehicles, as well as by those heading to the other hospital services.
