Mole24
Independent local-news blog about Torino, founded in 2013 by journalist Alessandro Maldera, covering news, history, culture and events.

Mole24 is a Torino-based local news website that describes itself as an «independent blog», founded in 2013 and directed by journalist Alessandro Maldera, formerly a reporter for city publications such as CronacaQui. It is published by the company mole24 sas, based on corso Vittorio Emanuele II in Torino, and aims to tell the story of the city through news, in-depth articles, historical curiosities, events and culture, with attention also to neighbourhoods and lesser-known stories. [1]
The site is organised into sections devoted to Torino news, art, food and wine, events, history, the local area, innovation, animals and curiosities, and it also covers the province and the rest of Piemonte; alongside the website, the publication uses Facebook, Instagram, X and a WhatsApp channel. [2] The history section publishes long-form accounts of the city and its institutions, such as the one devoted to the «Gazzetta Piemontese», the newspaper founded in 1867 from which La Stampa was born. [3]
A significant share of the audience comes from social networks: according to the editorial team, Mole24 has more than 260,000 followers on Facebook and 40,000 on Instagram. [1] In the Torino Top 100 ranking for September 2026, the site ranks among the top 5,000 most-visited sites in Italy according to Google's Chrome UX Report.
