Juventus-Banco Alimentare food drive of 18 October 2026
Date of the event:
The food drive of 18 October 2026 is a solidarity initiative promoted by Juventus together with Banco Alimentare del Piemonte on the occasion of the Juventus-Lazio match, played at the Allianz Stadium in Turin. The initiative involved the club's community of supporters and staff, who were invited to donate food items ahead of the match.
The event
The collection took place alongside the match between Juventus and Lazio, which ended 3-0 in favour of the Rome side [1]. The results of the initiative, announced a few days later, put the food donated by supporters and club staff at almost a tonne and a half [2].
Distribution and partners
The collected goods were distributed through the network of partner organisations of Banco Alimentare del Piemonte, which works to fight poverty and food insecurity in the area [2]. Among those thanked for supporting the initiative were partners Balocco, Caffè Vergnano and Felicia, as well as the Juventus Official Fan Clubs of Corsico, Emilia Bianconera, Nord Est Bianconero and Mortara [2].
Context
The initiative is part of the programme promoted by the Fondazione Banco Alimentare del Piemonte ETS for the thirtieth anniversary of the National Food Collection Day (Giornata Nazionale della Colletta Alimentare), scheduled for Saturday 14 November 2026. The programme also included a conference held on Tuesday 20 October at the Sermig, a photography exhibition set up under the porticoes of via Po from 1 to 16 November, and the lighting of the Mole Antonelliana on the night of 13-14 November [2].
