Caffè Vergnano

Caffè Vergnano, a historic Piedmontese coffee roaster, has opened its first outlet in Ireland, the Coffee Shop 1882 in Limerick, as part of an expansion plan that calls for ten new outlets in Italy and abroad by the end of 2026. The brand is now present in 203 locations in 22 countries and 120 cities, of which 154 in Italy and 22 in Europe; the company, led for more than four generations by the Vergnano family, is now run by Carolina Vergnano.

In 2014, on the initiative of Enrico Vergnano, Caffè Vergnano and Eataly took over catering at the National Cinema Museum in the Mole Antonelliana: 700 square metres and 170 seats, replacing the previous Autogrill management. [2]

In 2021 the company sold 30% of its capital to the Coca-Cola group, in a deal aimed at distribution. [3]

Carolina Vergnano also leads "Women in Coffee," the company's project for the economic independence of women coffee producers; on 13 October 2024 the project organized at Villa della Regina the charity event "Il coraggio di" ("The courage to") in support of Adisco. [4]
