Invitalia
On 1 October 2026 Invitalia's board of directors approves "Vulcan Project", allocating 1.3 billion euros in public funds for the 3.2-billion-euro plan with which the company Silicon Box will build its first European microchip plant in Novara.
Public support for the project comes from the sector fund set up under the European Chips Act. [4]
On 13 February 2023 the "Innovation Roadshow" of Invitalia and the Ministry of Enterprises sets off from Turin, organised with CTE Next, the Turin House of Emerging Technologies, which hosts the city's first Invitalia desk. [5]
