Commenting on the award to Juventus Stadium in Turin of the 2028 Conference League final, decided by Uefa on 15 September 2026, he stated that «Turin has everything it takes to be a great European capital of sport» and that the choice confirms «Uefa's appreciation and trust in Italy».
