Corriere di Novara
A Novara newspaper founded in 1877, today a biweekly published by the Netweek group for the provinces of Novara and Verbano-Cusio-Ossola.

The Corriere di Novara is one of the oldest newspapers in eastern Piedmont. It was founded in 1877 by the printer Napoleone Lenta, with lawyer Angelo Spattini as its first editor; launched as a daily, it had already become a biweekly by 1881.1 Publication was suspended between 1926 and 1945 and resumed on 1 May 1945; in 1976 the paper switched to tabloid format, and in 1986 it introduced an extensive sports section.1 In the years after the Second World War Luigi Einaudi also wrote for it; an article of his from 29 May 1946 is preserved.2
From 2005 to 2019 the paper came out three times a week, then returned to twice weekly while strengthening its digital presence; it belongs to the Netweek publishing group, has been edited since 2018 by Sandro Devecchi, and in 2023 had a newsroom of seven professional journalists, about sixty contributors and a weekly print run of around twenty thousand copies.1 The title's daily news is published on the portal primanovara.it.1
The historic domain corrieredinovara.it still presents the title as an independent periodical for the provinces of Novara and the V.C.O., founded in 1877 and on newsstands on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with the last online edition dated 26 April 2017 and a newsletter sign-up.3 In the Torino Top 100 ranking for September 2026, the site ranks among the 10,000 most-visited sites in Italy according to Google's Chrome UX Report.
