Circoscrizione 3
Circoscrizione 3 is one of the administrative districts of the City of Turin, with its own Council and its own executive board. On 21 September 2026, «Staffetta Urbana» was presented at Palazzo Civico, a project promoted by the MontalCit association as part of the Sportivi per Natura call for proposals of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, which turns four parks in Circoscrizione 3 — Parco Ruffini, Giardini Nicola Grosa, Giardini Martini and Giardino Francesco Salerno — into marked routes for running and walking, with QR codes giving access to content on sport, local biodiversity and the history of the Resistance. [2] On 23 September 2026, four councillors from Turin's Circoscrizioni, including Giulia Zaccaro, Stefano Bolognesi and Michele Celentano from Circoscrizione 3, switched political groups ahead of the upcoming local elections, a move that alters the political balance in some of the city's Centri civici.[1]
