The Lega is a political party present in Turin through its own representatives on the councils of the Districts (Circoscrizioni), the civic centres into which the municipal territory is divided, within the centre-right coalition.[1]

Presence in the civic centres

In District 6, councillor Giulia Zaccaro, elected in 2021 on the Torino Bellissima list, had subsequently moved to the Lega group.[1]

Group changes in September 2026

On 23 September 2026, Zaccaro left the Lega group to join "Scienza ambiente e futuro", a new centre-right majority Mixed Group formed together with councillor Michele Celentano, who came from "Verso i Moderati". The move was part of a series of group changes among Turin District councillors ahead of the next elections, which also changed the balance within the groups of Fratelli d'Italia, the Democratic Party and the Mixed Group.[1]
