Attack by Two Dogs on Their Owners in Borgaretto di Beinasco

On the afternoon of 30 September 2026, in Borgaretto, a hamlet of Beinasco, a couple was attacked inside their own home, near via Monviso, by the two Central Asian Shepherd dogs they had owned for about four years.[1][2]

The Attack

The man suffered extremely serious injuries to one hand, including the amputation of three fingers, as well as several bite wounds; doctors performed sutures and gave him a prognosis of 40 days.[1] He was assisted by emergency medical personnel and transported by ambulance to the San Luigi hospital in Orbassano.[1][2] The woman was also injured, suffering bites to the face and to several parts of her body, with a prognosis of 20 days.[1][2]

Response and the Animals' Fate

Local police officers and veterinarians from the ASL To3 responded to the scene. The two dogs were sedated and then transferred to the Croce Blu veterinary clinic in Piossasco.[1][2]
