Two Attacks on Hospital Staff at Ivrea Hospital (September 2026)

On 27 September 2026, within the space of a few hours, two attacks at the Ivrea hospital — one in the psychiatric ward, the other in the emergency room — left a total of six healthcare workers injured. The carabinieri arrested a man in connection with the incidents.

Seven attacks in 24 hours (29 September 2026)
On 29 September 2026, seven doctors and nurses were attacked at the Ivrea hospital within the space of 24 hours; the Nursing Up union called for urgent action by the Region across all healthcare facilities.
