Territorial Housing Agency for Central Piedmont

The Territorial Housing Agency for Central Piedmont (Atc), the body that manages public housing in the Turin metropolitan area, is chaired by Maurizio Pedrini. On 18 September 2026 the agency, with the support of law enforcement, repossessed a dwelling that had been illegally occupied since 2022 at via Roveda 45, in the Mirafiori neighborhood, two days after repossessing another occupied dwelling in the corso Salvemini complex, also in Mirafiori. With the via Roveda operation, illegal occupations in the building—which has a total of 49 units—were eliminated.

On 15 April 2026 the agency renewed for another three years the memorandum of understanding with the Ombudsman of the Piedmont Region, in force since 2013, which allows tenants of public housing to file complaints with that office. [3]

With the City of Turin and FIAB Torino Bike Pride the agency is taking part in the «Pedali Sociali» project, which by the end of 2027 will provide more than 350 bicycle parking spaces in five public housing complexes in the city. [4]

On 24 July 2026, with the Local Police, the agency repossessed a dwelling in the complex at via Ghedini 12, in the Regio Parco neighborhood, which had been illegally occupied since early 2025. [5]
