Salvatore Ippolito
Salvatore Ippolito is the mayoral candidate put forward by the sovereigntist movement Italia Domani, led by Marco Rizzo, for the City of Turin's upcoming local elections.
The announcement in Turin
Ippolito was named mayoral candidate on 24 October 2026, during a public meeting held at the Circolo Concordia Cenisia, at via Frejus 36 in Turin [1][2]. The announcement came during a visit by the movement to Piedmont on 22, 23 and 24 October, during which Marco Rizzo and national secretary Francesca Antinozzi met citizens, professionals, workers, entrepreneurs, local administrators and representatives of civil-society associations [2].
The same day also saw Italia Domani's first Piedmont regional steering meeting, attended also by some local representatives from committees in the Cuneo area previously linked to Roberto Vannacci's Futuro Nazionale movement [1]. The meeting was also attended by the provincial secretary of Turin's SIULP police union, Eugenio Bravo, who spoke on issues of urban security [1][2].
