Rivoli si Orienta 2026
Date of the event:

«Rivoli si Orienta» ("Rivoli Finds Its Direction") is the second edition of the school guidance project organised by the City of Rivoli in partnership with the Education Department of the Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art and with Obiettivo Orientamento Piemonte, with organisational support from Motiva Cooperativa Sociale. The event is held in piazza Mafalda di Savoia, where the museum is based, and in the 2026 edition runs over two days, Saturday 14 and Saturday 28 November, both from 10 am to 4 pm [1][2].
The 14 November programme
The first event is aimed at lower secondary school students and their families, who are choosing which upper secondary school to attend. The Castello's spaces host schools and training agencies, with offerings organised by theme area: from the "Via della Scienza e della Tecnica" (Avenue of Science and Technology) to the "Via delle Lettere e delle Scienze Sociali" (Avenue of Letters and Social Sciences), through to the "Piazza delle Lingue e del Turismo" (Square of Languages and Tourism) and the "Viale Steam" (STEAM Avenue) [1]. Visitors will also be able to tour the museum on the day [1]. According to L'Agenda News, the initiative builds on the experience of the previous edition, when the Castello was turned into a "City of Schools" [2].
«Bussole: incontri, prove, scelte» on 28 November
The second event, titled «Bussole: incontri, prove, scelte» ("Compasses: meetings, trials, choices"), is aimed at upper secondary school students and young people leaving school who are interested in continuing their studies. Universities, Higher Education Schools, Higher Technical Institutes (ITS), institutions of advanced artistic and musical training (AFAM) and training agencies take part, with options including programmes outside Piedmont [1][2]. Visits to the stands are accompanied by themed talks and workshops run by local universities [2]. The Politecnico di Torino offers sessions on creativity in the age of artificial intelligence and on chemistry, with an interactive periodic table focused on topics such as the environment, plastics and energy [1]. The University of Turin presents the documentary film «PLA – Storia di una relazione» ("PLA – Story of a Relationship"), on the relationship with plastic between usefulness, environmental impact, recycling and bioplastics, followed by a discussion with researchers and the film's authors [1].
