Prima Biella
Prima Biella is a local news website dedicated to news and current affairs from Biella and its province, also present with its own video channel [1]. The site belongs to the network of publications of the Netweek group, a publishing house specializing in local news that publishes weekly print papers and online dailies in Lombardy, Piedmont, Veneto, Tuscany and Valle d'Aosta; in eastern Piedmont the same network also includes Prima Vercelli [2].
Netweek is controlled by the holding company D.Holding and in 2022 declared fifty-four local publications and around forty news websites in eleven Italian regions; in that year the group announced its entry into the television market with the incorporation of Media Group's local broadcasters [3]. In a directory of the Italian local press the group appears with fifty-eight print weeklies and forty-one online dailies [2].
For the Biella area the site is the daily online presence of a publishing group active in several regions of Northern Italy [2]; news is also distributed in video form through the dedicated channel, presented as a source of news and local current affairs from Biella and its province [1]. In the Torino Top 100 ranking for September 2026 the site appears among the 10,000 most visited websites in Italy according to Google's Chrome UX Report.
