Prima Vercelli
Prima Vercelli is a local news website dedicated to news and current affairs from Vercelli and its province, with regular columns and in-depth features also distributed through its own video channel [1]. The site is part of the network of publications belonging to the Netweek group, a publisher specializing in local news with print weeklies and online dailies in Lombardy, Piedmont, Veneto, Tuscany and Valle d'Aosta; the same area of the network also includes Prima Biella [2].
Netweek is controlled by D.Holding and in 2022 reported fifty-four local publications and around forty news websites across eleven Italian regions; that same year it announced the incorporation of Media Group's local television stations, entering the television market [3]. In a directory of the Italian local press, the group is listed with fifty-eight print weeklies and forty-one online dailies [2].
The site's home page organizes news into sections dedicated to local news, current affairs, culture, schools, sports and events, along with a section for tips and advice and a space for initiatives promoted by the publication in the Vercelli area; recurring topics include emergency-response news, school life, women's sports and civic campaigns from the province [4]. In the Torino Top 100 ranking for September 2026, the site appears among the 50,000 most visited sites in Italy according to Google's Chrome UX Report.
