On 31 October 2026, the Piedmont Region presents a new model for care homes (residenze sanitarie assistenziali, Rsa) based on service centres and greater home-care support. Democratic Party (Pd) regional councillor Monica Canalis criticises the lack of structural measures and calls for an update of regional resolutions unchanged since 2013-2014 [1][2].
