Mercato Svizzera
The Mercato Svizzera is a neighborhood market in Turin that runs along corso Svizzera, in the stretch between via Bianzè and piazza Perotti.
On 22 September 2026 the City Council of Turin approved the final design for an extraordinary maintenance project on the market area, with a total cost of 67,857 euros, of which 47,500 euros financed through a contribution from the Piedmont Region as part of a call for grants to neighborhood markets. The works, scheduled for the first months of 2027, will involve securing the tree beds, including 23 new plantings, installing steel grates with draining material, and removing the cementitious material between the mesh of the existing grates; the works will take place in the afternoon hours so as not to interfere with the market's activity.
