Masera
Masera is a municipality of Piedmont, in the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola area. The town lies along state road SS33 "del Sempione", between Domodossola and Anzola d'Ossola[1].
Works on the SS33
From 6 November 2026, maintenance and resurfacing works began on the SS33 del Sempione, an intervention affecting intermittent sections between Anzola d'Ossola and Masera, in both directions[1]. On the stretch between Domodossola and Masera, which has a single carriageway with one lane per direction, alternating one-way traffic is in place[1].
From the week of 9 November until Friday 27 November, the works moved to the section between Anzola d'Ossola and Domodossola, with lane narrowing on intermittent stretches[1]. Work is carried out alternately along the travel lane and the overtaking lane, keeping the remaining lane open to traffic[1]. During the works at the Domodossola junction, the access and exit ramps were temporarily closed to traffic, with traffic diverted onto local roads[1].
