Lucia Musti

Lucia Musti is the Procurator General of Turin, heading the office of the Procurator General at the Court of Appeal of the Piedmontese capital.

In February 2026, at the opening of the judicial year, Musti raised an alarm over juvenile crime in Turin, stating that "minors now commit every kind of offence", from homicide to illegal possession of weapons, from international terrorism to drug dealing, with the phenomenon particularly concentrated in the city's northern outskirts. She noted that the extension of precautionary measures under the Caivano decree had increased the number of young people held in the juvenile penal institute, and had flagged to the Department of Juvenile Justice the difficulty of finding suitable facilities for minors subject to precautionary measures.

In July 2026 Musti issued a statement to clarify the compensation aspects of the case of the Grinzane Cavour jeweller Mario Roggero, who was definitively convicted of killing two of the robbers of his shop, specifying that the Procurator General's office had obtained a precautionary seizure of 50,000 euros to guarantee legal costs.

In September 2026 she stated that, in Turin and Piedmont, the reassignment of an asset confiscated from organised crime takes at least three or four years in the best case, stressing that the City of Turin is very committed on the issue but that in the smaller municipalities of the province the timeframes stretch further still, especially for real-estate assets such as land and buildings.

Musti also took part, in March 2025, in the city's commemoration for the tenth anniversary of the Bardo museum massacre in Tunis, held in front of Palazzo Civico together with mayor Stefano Lo Russo and the families of the Turinese victims of the attack.
