La Uefa assegna a Torino la finale di Conference League 2028

On 15 September 2026 the Uefa Executive Committee, meeting in Thessaloniki, awarded the Juventus stadium in Turin — the Juventus Stadium, also known as the Allianz Stadium for sponsorship reasons — the final of the 2028 Uefa Conference League, at the end of a bid submitted by the Italian Football Federation (Figc) together with the City of Turin, the Piedmont Region and, for hospitality-related matters, Federalberghi Torino.12 It will be the first time Italy hosts the final of the third-tier European club competition.1

For the stadium it will be the third international club final since it opened: the venue has already hosted the 2014 Europa League final between Sevilla and Benfica, the 2022 Women's Champions League final between Lyon and Barcelona and, in 2021, two matches of the Nations League Finals (the semi-final between Belgium and France and the third-place match between Italy and Belgium).12 Figc president Giovanni Malagò called the choice "an important recognition for the city, for the club and for the whole Italian sporting system",1 while Turin's mayor Stefano Lo Russo spoke of "a new major sporting event, confirming the city's ability to successfully host events of international standing".3
