Feletto is a municipality in Piedmont's Canavese area, within the Metropolitan City of Turin. The parish church of Santa Maria Assunta is known for its organ built by the Serassi Brothers in 1825, considered one of the most significant instruments for performing the band-and-theatre repertoire [1].

Organalia 2026

On 6 November 2026, at 8:45 pm, the church of Santa Maria Assunta in Feletto hosted the closing concert of the Organalia 2026 music festival, sponsored by the Metropolitan City of Turin, with the patronage of the municipality of Feletto and the Diocese of Ivrea and the collaboration of the provostry of Feletto [1]. The initiative, promoted by the Lions Club Alto Canavese, aimed to raise funds for the association Piccoli Passi to buy equipment for the neonatal intensive care unit of the Sant'Anna University Hospital in Turin [1]. The evening's protagonist was organist Diego Cannizzaro, titular organist of Cefalù Cathedral and professor of organ at the Vincenzo Bellini Conservatory in Caltanissetta, who performed pieces by Vincenzo Antonio Petrali, Polibio Fumagalli, Roberto Remondi and Saverio Mercadante on the church's Serassi organ [1]. The evening opened with a talk on the history and architecture of the parish church given by professor Maria Grazia Caresio, followed by a greeting from the president of the Lions Club Alto Canavese, Roberto Uligini [1].
